January Judiciousness (Joyful Blessings of Encouragement)

January’s Bible Verse: Psalm 28:7

                        “The Lord is my strength and my shield;my heart trusted in him,

and I am helped:therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;and with my

song will I praise him.”    KJV

January’s Poem: Being Joyful Always

Always be joyful in the Lord,

Show that He is loved and adored;

Sing praise songs and lift up your voice,

  Always in the Lord to rejoice

 I say rejoice and be joyful,

Within the Lord who is trustful;

Remember the Lord is at hand,

Who will help and does understand.

   Relax and do not ever fear,

For the Lord our God is near;

  Never worry of anything,

As long as to the cross you cling.

Show how considerate you are,

Your light shines brighter than a star,

 While being humble and kind,

During stressful times  ease their mind.

Then think of the power of prayer,

With the Lord what you  can share;

    Everything you can impart,

That has been brewing in your heart.

 Let Him know of what you need,

For  your life to help you succeed,

  Give thanks while you request,

What will help you do your best.

 Always remember to instill,

         Asking if it is His will;

     If it were for the will you own,

Then your words will just stand alone.

Keep your thoughts whatever is right,

    That  is fair and true in His sight;

  So practice what you have been taught,

Then God gives peace in what you sought.

                           ~Richard Newton Sherrer

January’s Quote:

“The hope that God  has provided for you is not merely a

wish. Neither is it dependent on other people,

possessions, or circumstances for it’s validity.Instead,

biblical hope is an application of your faith that supplies

a confident expectation in God’s fulfillment of His

promises. Coupled with faith and love,hope is part of

the abiding characteristics in a believer’s life.”

March’s Bible Verse: Song of Solomon 2:12

the time of the singing  of birds is come,and

 the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;  Kjv

March’s Poem: Spring Time Light

At last the mornings welcome light

has drawn the darkness from the night,

and growing days give time and heat

for nature’s bounty to repeat.

The trees sing out in chorus lines

words which blossoms redefine,

these garlands in the trees reveal

the land can now revive and heal.

All creatures feel the warming hand

Of sun beams scattered on the land

as battered grass begins to grow,

released once more the river flow.

– Robert Patinson

March’s Quote

“Now when the primrose makes a splendid show,

And lilies face the March-wind in full blow,

And humbler growths as with one desire

Put on,to welcome Spring,their best attire…”

If we take the time, no matter how crazy and troubled we feel, we

can find something to be thankful for.

The more we seek gratitude, the more the angels will give us for

gratitude and joy to exist

in our lives.”

1 (A Song of degrees for Solomon.)Except the LORD build the house,they labour in vain that it:except the LORD keep city,the watchman waketh but in vain.

2 it is vain for you to rise up early,to sit up late,to eat the bread of sorrow: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

3 Lo,children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of womb is reward

4 As sorrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with enemies in the gate.

Psalms Chapter 127: Verses 1-5

What Makes A Dad

God toke the strength of a mountain,

The majesty of a tree,

The warmth of a summer sun,

The calm of a quiet sea,

The generous soul of nature,

The comforting arm of night,

The wisdom of the ages,

The power of the eagle’s flight,

The joy of a morning in Spring,

The faith of a mustard seed,

The patience of eternity,

The depth of family need,

Then God combined these qualities,

When there was nothing more to add,

He knew His masterpiece was complete,

And so,He called it..Dad

January Joyfulness (New Beginnings) -Let’s Get Organized

JanuaryJoyfulness21

“Chaos often breeds life,when order breeds habit.”– Henry Brooke Adams

“It is best to do things systematically,since we are only human,and disorder is our worst enemy.” – Hesiod

Organize-to arrange or order things so that they can be found or used easily and quickly : to put things into a particular arrangement or order.

Order-the way objects in a space or events in time are arranged or follow one another.

Disorganized-not having parts arranged in a neat and effective way.

Chaos-complete confusion and disorder : a state in which behavior and events are not controlled by anything.

O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand

and his holy arm,hath gotten him the victory.

Psalm 98:1

New Beginnings

The eve of beginnings, of new hope and belief

As the January month awakens from sleep

Creeping her way the new unfolds

With optimistic magic for what she will hold

The pen has fresh ink, the paper is white

As the author creates a new passionate write.

From January forward

To December end

Poets all gather to share, love and befriend.

So with winter breaking and Spring waiting to start

I blow out the cobwebs and open my heart.

Anticipating, the words ebb and flow

From what secrets I’m keeping and the secrets I’ll show

Gathered together we write with desire

About the sun and the moonlight, the rain and the fire

To the last line we celebrate as a new verse is born

Whilst the muses still whisper from dusk till dawn.

December Celebration’s

A Calendar Of Sonnets: December

The lakes of ice gleam bluer than the lakes

of water ‘neath the summers sunshine gleamed;

far fairer than when placidly it streamed,

The book it’s frozen architecture makes,

And under bridges white its swift way takes.

Snow comes and goes as messenger who dreamed

Might linger on the road; or one who deemed

His message hostile gently for their sakes

Who listened might reveal it by degrees.

We gird against the cold of winter wind

our loins now with mighty bands sleep,

In longest,darkest nights take rest and ease,

And every shortening day,as shadows creep

O’er the brief noontide,fresh  surprises find.

October Happenings!

October

By Robert Frost

O hushed October morning mild,

Thy leaves have ripened to the fall;

Tomorrow’s wind,if it be wind,

Should waste them all.

The crows above the forest call;

Tomorrow they may form and go.

O hushed October morning mild,

Begin the hours of this day slow.

Make the day seem to us less brief.

Hearts not averse to begin beguiled,

Beguile us in the way you know.

Release one leaf at break of day;

At noon release another leaf;

One from our trees,one from far away.

Retard the sun with gentle mist;

Enchant the land with amethyst.

Slow! slow!

For the grapes’ sake, if they were  all,

Whose leaves already are burnt with frost,

Whose clustered fruit must else be lost-

For the grapes’ sake along the wall.

October has begun and in this blog post we will be focusing on upcoming October events and celebrations…which will also Read more
